how would you make an under-desk hideout?

I'll post some ideas in a bit myself

yeup.

I would def install a black curtain to keep casual glances from seeing inside

I would insteal LED light strips above the desk 9Ikea makes cheap ones). I would have a square cut out for a small LCD screen, and I'd put some compact game system in a drawr (witha hole cut out under the desk for wires)..possible a PS2 or something)

a microfiber blaket, and a pillow to sit on, rounds it out.

dark sheet and something to hold it up, of course

Don't forget a small fan and decent ventilation for maximum comfort and moisture control.

For maximum 'fortiness,' though, you're going to need a sturdy yet convenient barrier to entry, and something to keep the desk from being moved at will by the invaders.

I'm thinking a sliding door made of dense particle board, that can be dead bolted from the inside.

Securing the desk however is a lot more difficult. Depends on how heavy the desk is, and the sort of freedom you have in modifying the room containing it.

how would you do ventillation? some computer fans, rigged together, blowing out an exhaust port behind a drawer (and mounted faceing the underside of the desk via a hole cut in the drawer wall)?
