so how do you niggers make your own clothes?
as for the tshirts and trousers, it's not complicated.
but where does one obtain fat hoodie material? whenever i look at some fabrics they seem rather thin, say i saw "1800 gsm hoodie" - now, do they have such a fat piece of fabric in a roll or do they conjoin few sheets of it?

retard here

>> No.2773194

1800 gsm seems ridiculously thick, but it's probably still one piece. 700 would probably be on the high end for "normal" heavyweight hoodies.

is making your own clothes more cost effective than hunting for deals at nice low priced thrift shops? I never pay more than $10-$15maximum for an article of clothing unless it's a big ass jacket. In proper diy fashion I fix any holes or whatever with my needle and thread. So if you bought $10 of denim would that be enough to make a good pair of jeans?

Absolutely not. If you make your own clothes, it's because you really, really want to make your own clothes. It is absolutely not cost effective unless you're getting into very specific techwear or some other item you sew such as a sleeping bag. Personal example, I've made down UL sleeping bags for half the price of what I'd pay from somewhere like Kifaru, that were made to my exact measurements with all the features I wanted. I've made goretex jackets and pants much cheaper than I would find them used, even with a good deal.

Shit like jeans, a tee shirt, a flannel, cargo pants, socks? Absolutely not, just go buy it.

Not at all. Having the skill to do alterations and basic patchwork/repairs is more than enough, and will be more than enough for decades unless they start burning, burying, and shredding clothes faster.

if you can get good fabric for $10 then your self made jeans will be better than something bought for $10 from store work invested aside

It depends. Basic clothing that fits good enough? Absolutely not. Customized clothes? Probably. If I was making my own clothes, it would be because nobody is making clothes that fit me the way I want with the fabric and the features that I want and to pay someone to do that would be ridiculously expensive.

so you get a tax number i forgot what its called idn or some shit
then you can buy from wholesale sites
like where they sell pipes for like 5cents and you buy a 100 at time

there are sites that have every type of cotton

so you go its all cotton shirts and hodies

you order 20 diff types and see what material you want

like hoodies can have 100 percent cotton or 50 30 depends on you price level and quality

same with t shirts

you the get some logo or buissness logo
make 2000 of them for like 300 dollars

then you sell them
thats what really anyone does know
niggers actaully dont even do this
they go the swap meet and have some korean dude do it

there also companies that will do it

if itss 5060 percent polyester
than its cheap plastic hooodie
the more cotton the more expensive

just order shit from your favorie jewtube celeb

its what they all do

you sell t shirts for 25 30 with logo on it
paid maybe 4 a shirt

>> No.2778714

thats why if you go to a swap meet
the hoodies are cheap plastic with a bob marley logo on them

the only people who sell 100 cotton know are actually koreans
because they import everything
you can get 100 cotton hoddies from them
all the dickies are cotton too

>> No.2778715

Is making clothes yourself worth it? I got a sewing machine and my skill is improving. What I am most surprised of is the quality of fabrics I find. I too would like to make hoodies. I got mostly marine and outdoor grade materials. 100% Acrylic fiber that kind of stuff. Would be cool to make somethng from it

you can always just make it multiple layers of a given material

You can get secondhand fabric pretty cheaply, people are often throwing it out, but is it really worth it to spend the time sourcing good secondhand fabric and making clothing when you can just buy a shirt or jeans for $10-15 as you say?
