the power strip was completely unnecessary since there was a wall outlet right behind the dishwasher. also the power strip was connected to another power strip; fixing the ground would still make it a fire hazard AFAIK

judging from how a lot of stuff is falling apart in the house I assume my roommates don't know much about anything that has to do with housekeeping. The dishwasher was added later, not part of the original design, it's freestanding in the garage. If my house explodes your doubt will be confirmed, until then I think the people here had a lapse of judgement and were being retards
