self destruct box

Can someone help me create a box that can hold a large item and when opened can create a small flame. Similar to the trick Light Yagami in deathnote. I know weird request but I'm curious to know if possible to it on a larger scale.

OP, I saw some other Anon a while ago on here mulling over the idea of creating some kind of portable incinerator box that could be triggered remotely or at a specific date to destroy the contents inside, so clearly there's a need for this so you can destroy your cornsilk and loli gold when the feds arrive. Would be an interesting thread to see /diy/ design such a thing together, but I wouldn't expect anything. Also I'm dumb and cannot help in anyway, but here's a bump for your endeavors.

This is basicly an inverted lighter, the downsides is that the lid will be hard to open, and the paper wont't burn entierly at once so you can put it out if youre fast. Although this last point can be solved by writing on flash paper.

Alternativly:

This design requiers one compartment with the paper, and anotherone for the electronics. You'll need lighters, motors, piezo things (you can get it from those long-necked lighters) and probably an arduino or something idk. If you do use an propper microcontroller you can make it burn on an specific date or remote controll it.


I really don't know, this is just from the top of my head. And i really recomend using flash paper :)

It'll certanly destruct whatever you want, but it won't be instant. And to light it you'll need a strip of magnesium with a strong blue flame
