Why does hotel maintenance pay suck so bad? I've done residential, medical and figured I'd try out hotel as I figured it'd be easier than the work pace I had before. Turns out it's busy as fuck and the pay sucks. Took a hefty pay cut going from a maintenance director position to a chief engineer at a hotel thinking it'd be worth it to not be as busy all the time, after hours calls etc. Think I'm going to go back to medical maintenance.
