for the vaccum press's. can i use the space saver bags instead of buying one specifically for the boards?

How much pressure psi does it put on? Do you use veneer or plywood? What glue do you recommend?

i used 3 plies of baltic birch plywood. it pretty much holds the same as Canadian maple. i also put a layer of fiberglass on the top and bottom.

As for the glue, i highly recommend using tightbond 3 wood glue. its very strong holds the wood together great.

Tite-bond 2 is better.

Arguably has better strength when wet as well.

Tite-bond 3 is pretty much only for things that go and stay underwater for period of time.
