Feel like assembling a synth. Preferably MIDI controllable.
Thinking either the Meeblip or PAIA Fatman (for analog warmth). Or maybe finding some way to further mod my monotron. What do?
Cheapest Meeblip $40
Fatman $250 (fully analog though)

1.) what kind of controller do you have?
2.) How good at electronics and soldering are you?
3.)what features do you want

Oh shit. Coming back to bump.

Features don't really matter much as long as it sounds good. I've been using Reason, and as much as I love its sound, it can get pretty cold. I'd like something that would be better suited to run through an amplifier or speaker of some kind and get a really fat sound (and the Microkorg/monotron ain't doin' it for me).

And if it can make a decent sawtooth pad, then I'll buy it in a second.

Messed with the filter a bit. Nothing too serious, but still got some interesting sounds.

I've seen those synths (first thing for every damn google search) but I can't find a decent review. Are they any good?
