I want one of these. Either the Cadillac or the Chevy version. I know the Avalanche has the mid-gate, which let's you extend the bed inward and have a full length bed, which makes it a pretty rad family and work truck. I have a Ridgeline now, but hoping to get something body on frame soon. It's just too bad that trucks cost so much money.

idk about the cadillac but the chevy avalcneh '05 model has a multitude of annoying problems. the dash system will fuck up, rendering your speedometer and gas meter unusable. you will have to rely on the computer estimate for your mileage, and maybe a phone app for your speed. the seat warmers like to turn on randomly whenever it's humid out, even if it's a hundred degrees outside. the sensor in the gas tank will desolve, so it will take you a half hour to fill up your tank at the lowest pump speed possible. i'm not a car guy so i'm sorry if i don't know the terms, but i have an avalanche and these are the things that annoy me the most.

Gm had a bad wiring harness design for like 04-12. There is literally no fix. I took it in for recall and all they do is jiggle the cable around a bit until the oxidation breaks loose and it works for the next 10 minutes.
