Hi, My chinese radio for my car just rapes my ears when I turn on any sound when the radio is cold. when it warms up it's fine.any ideas what should I look for in the circuit? cause it looks like someone hand made it. it looks something like pic related (I'll provide more pics later)
Ja jos joku suomalainen sattuu tietämään asiasta niin på finska tack so mycket.

Here's a picture of the part/circuit that is fucked on its own way

Here's the board from the other side

So if anyone has any ideas what could cause it to play music but at full volume and terrible quality.

Since its been coldish In Finland I would guess it's something To do with a bad connection In the small signal path (before amps).

Any aux-in's, external amplifiers you have?

I wonder if it's the Chinesium capacitors that are being affected by the cold and messing up any filters.

it has new flat surface on it from the backplate it's under

More like all the surface mount ones, I've never had luck with cheap SMD caps in filter applications.

You can buy freeze spray, and work your way around the board and isolate the prob that way. It's not very accurate as it's similar to the tube you find on canned air, but maybe you'll get lucky...

>> No.1966865

It could be a cracked smd (ceramic) capacitor. But these would only be expected on the outer edges of the board, and they would have To be quite large To be prone To fractures.

Closer inspection on caps show they've all been replaced once. I'm just gonna replace the one that has taken a hit, try if that works and if not I'll replace the rest too.
