How are you going to keep all the heat from leaving through that thin metal roof and those gaping holes everywhere?

Also, how do you get in when it's sideways?

>> No.1943170

>>1943162
There will be an outer wall as well and insulation in between the two, so there will be no major issues with any holes or cracks in the walls. Idk for the roof, I can probably put some wood along the top but I don't have enough right now and I'll only buy more if the escaping heat becomes a major issue.

Where's the seats? Does it need ventilation? Where is the heater and rock thing going to go (I assume the middle?)?
Is this thing basically just a shed right now?

I just want to know to what extent, I prefer cooler and wetter saunas over hot and dry. If I can't reliably hit 50-60C then it will need to be fixed, but I don't really care if I'm not hitting 100C

Edges of the tin will rust wherever you cut them too, you'll want to give the edges a coat of cold galvanizing spray or some other paint.

You might be able to coat the tin with something like pickup truck bed liner and get a little more insulation and some corrosion resistance

You should use the sheetmetal as a roof and not as a wall. also it is a bad idea to glue stuff to the wall as when the sauna gets hot the glue will melt and they will fall off...

another thing is that the sauna is suppose to keep the heat in so try to make it airtight from the bottom of the wall all the way to the ceiling, you need to drain the water by spacing the floor and letting the water run out or you need to make a drain. one went should be by the heatsource all the way down by the floor and the other one on the opposite wall by the ceiling.

good luck

There are many conditions and activities that can cause a bad heart. Being fat certainly is one of them.
Fatties should stay out of the sauna if they dont want to further stress their already stressed heart
