So I didnt know where else to put this but I wanted your anons opinion on this idea. I've been looking around the internet for tents because I found a good solution to having a bed would simply be to use a tent inside. I saw someone do it in a book where it shows dorm room setups and it got me immensively interested. Do you do this yourself? Do you think it may be a good idea?

Are you talking mosquito netting? That is what you have in your picture. It is fairly common to use netting inside in areas with mosquito-borne diseases.

There's a company called Privacy Pop that makes what are essentially tents that go around your mattress. They're a little over-priced, but I've been using one for a year and I'm pretty happy with it. The mattress really contributes to the stability of the thing, but if you don't have one, your could probably throw some weights in the corners and call it good.

I saw it in a studio apartment book and it seemed to look cool. If you have time read Home, Studio Home by Todd Oldham. It has a lotta cool designs

I used to sleep on a matress in a tent inside for many many many years. making love in there was nice, also had my computer in there next to the matress now i just sleep in a recliner next to the computer and listen to stuff and fall asleep

Make sure you have something with window mesh or else it'll get sweaty in there when it's hot out.

Is that the clothes fag that was on The Nanny?

What is the purpose of the tent, OP? Insect protection or privacy? I would look to nip culture for the latter.

I sleep in a hammock on a hammock stand (works great for my bad back) as many do. Visit hammock forums.
