Without installing bolts and marring the surface of the inner arch? I need to be able to pass through it too. Trying to block sound. This is harder than I thought it would be. Anyone have this problem? What did you end up doing?
I have seen the barn door option but
1) they are not real big on being soundproof with large gaps around the entryway
2) can I have one shipped to me & install myself, anyone put one in before? Don't want virus ppl in here.

heavy duty command hooks, moving blanket and a handheld grommet press.

I figured OP was 12 since he's not allowed to touch the inner surface of the arch.

Hinges on the wall (not the inside of the arch) and a fitted door that will slot into the arch. Think of a safe or bank vault type thing.

A thick door.

Put a mattress up against the arch.

LOL. I dunno just if it could be done without having to repair it afterwards, would be nice. But if it looked decent enough could stay in there I guess

On it

With a door that fits. If you can't touch the inner arch, construct a fake inner arch, or "sleeve" or doorframe or whatever you want to call it that goes over the arch and fix your door to that.

Elegant, like fill the arch, flat on bottom then door under. Nice
