As a person who has made several of these, I recommend that you do not use the rivet stands for the pot like they show. This causes the entire unit to be very top heavy. Vibration and wind can easily knock over the entire unit spilling hot foor and flaming alcohol all over the place. Not cool.

I recommend a stand that is separate from the alcohol burner itself. This can be made of a circular piece of flashing or hardware cloth. Make it as large as you need it to be for the pots you will use on it.

Here is one I made a few years ago. Note the stand and wind break used. They are made to fit inside each other for portability and ease of use.

That's correct, it will clean the coin and do no damage to you or the coin. But there's also a special effect. You can clean your face with it!!! Look at the infographic I post. It's not dangerous nor it will produce crystals, my mom told me about this trick when I reached puberty to get rid of my pimples and it works very well.
