Americans don't live in houses anymore.

>> No.182303

Lolno.
I don't know what american houses are built from, but if you've got as many fibro houses there as we do in Australia, then the poms have it better off in their old houses. And asbestos is fucking stupid in houses.
By the way, what are american houses made from?

Until this board I had no idea Aussies got so butthurt. I mentioned something about the ridiculous numbers of things actively trying to kill humanity in Oz and got ripped for it. Who knew?

East coast there's plenty of older style buildings, yes. Have you been to the west coast? My god, I didn't realize that houses were supposed to have planned obsolescence built in. There are literally houses built just 20 years ago that are being condemned because they were built so cheaply, and every time you see a new house being put up it's with those useless-ass engineered joists made of chipboard and cardboard walls. It's fucking terrible.

Probably because they're not actively trying to kill humanity and they rarely ever do. People getting worried about it are stupid. You're far more likely to die from a car accident or something equally banal.

You can also tell how cheap construction is now by going into ANY modern apartment. You will hear EVERYTHING that every neighbor does, no matter what direction b/c the walls are empty and cheap. Literally listening to every piss ppl take. America sux now.

I'm working in a lab that tests for asbestos right now, although eating lunch and wasting time here currently
