Would it be possible to live out of a house made of LEGO obviously not this design but something around 750 sq ft I haven’t put together all the pieces but I think it would be cheaper than wood

Bro, have you looked at the price of Legos? Medium sized kits are like $70-$100.

This. Legos are expensive as fuck. The cheapest medium is probably CMUs.

I was going to say you can probably find old legos for a decent price, but now that I think about it I have NEVER seen legos at a thrift or antique store. This is a luxury item.
Now duplos, on the other hand...

>> No.1777746

Honestly? Depends on a lot of factors, you want JUST legos, no glue, no wood supports, no thing just lego?
Probably not
But you could probably do something with mortaring them together with concrete or something and supporting them with wooded studs.
Wouldn't be that weather resistant but it'd probably look cool

>> No.1777760

>>1776449
Look up insulated concrete forms, they're essentially like building a house with legos, but you add concrete.

cheapest source for LEGO that isn't goodwill (and they're rare af at thrift shops) is bricklink.com -- secondhand LEGOs. check it out, crunch some numbers and come back with a price tag for enough bricks to build a front doorway. go ahead, i want to hear more about how inexpensive LEGOs really are. Commie Blocks (tyco etc) are cheaper but they don't snap together as well.

I'm still trying to get enough bricks together for my all-Lego computer case.

You're like that dumb fat bitch who spent her money on expensive grapes and then complained that eating healthy is not economically viable. You're so dumb, you could start a fire by pouring water. Lego Ideas are limited run crap and half the pieces are cosmetic. OP could instead buy the cheaper and more useful brick boxes. Lego sells bricks in bulk if you contact them, and they would probably give an extra discount to OP because it would be free advertising.

I could see framing a house with lego, but the walls would have to be thick as fuck. You'd need to farnagle some other kind of roof though. It would feel like Minecraft, where you have this wide ass walls that feel bizarre when walking through them in first-person.
