Actually I think it could but I need to buy an adapter for it or there might be a hack to do it with cords I already have.

>Can it run Linux?
Why would I need it to run Linux. And from what I know about it the OS is already based off some form of linux anyway.

>Does it have an ethernet port?

What do you need the ethernet port for? I can connect my to any computer and exchange files or use a service like dropbox to exchange files.

>Okay how about an easy one. does it have two full USB ports? (OH SNAP)

I would love to build it into a small case designed to attach to your forearm with a small 5-7inch flip up monitor with a keyboard like this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823852001

(obviously I will find one much cheaper because I know I've found them for $20-30 but I just was looking for a link right now)

and a wifi dongle and an SD card slot with a 32gb card so I can have everything on there and be a complete super nerd...

among other things, I will buy 2-3 of them, use them as seed boxes for my private trackers and run my own file server from one :D so happy that I came across these things, they are AWESOME!!

Isn't the GBA built on ARM architecture? Will that make it easier for an emulator to come out?

Don't expect this to be any good as a NAS. The SoC has 1 USB connection, and on the model B that is connected to the LAN9512 which provides a 2-port hub and the Ethernet. So your (10/100) Ethernet and disks are sharing one USB port's worth of bandwidth.
