So my toilet keeps getting blocked up and I decided to take a bit of a look.

I have a feeling the trap way is either corroding away or clogging up the toilet. Somebody explain this?

OP here, not dead but can someone tell me what’s goin on with the toilet? I think this was the main problem with the toilet being clogged all the time. That or something’s eroding in there.

It's fat.
Cold, solidified fat.
Can be tested, if you try to set it on fire with lighter, it will sizzle. If it's ceramics, it will do nothing. But it's fat.
Detergents wont help, try strong acid (HCl or H2SO4 if you can get it), or strong alcalics dissolved in hot water (NaOH or KOH are the common ones you can get at the drug store)

OP again, turns out it’s mineral deposits that’ve been building up over time.

Idk if smartest idea, but I’m using vinegar for now . It’s got a low Ph level, so I’m using it for now.
