pic: a gas forge. Can be as simple as this, even more simple. Burner can be any cheap propane torch. Enough temperature to forge and quench, not enough for welding

Ah I'll warn you the most expensive piece in this shit will be the anvil. Anvils are fucking expensive and chink stuff ain't good.
Get ready to pay like $100 every 10Kg of anvil. 10Kg anvil is good for knives and small pieces though.
Anyway most hobbists use a piece of rail as an anvil. If you can get a piece of rail, fucking get it.
