Those are some first class welds for flux core wire!
I get splatter everywhere, spend more time grinding.

The front wheel is maybe too skinny to push those wide back tires to turn.
The lawnmower that this came from had two small wide wheels to take the stress the back wheels push. It might taco the bike wheel in a turn. It's the force you need to balance, bicycles don't have that kind of stress that a trike has.
If you could find a wide wheel with a solid hub, you could make a wide fork to fit and not have to think about it.
Also the bike fork angle has too much "caster", the angle of the fork is too far down, it stresses the wheel and makes it hard to turn.
A more upright fork angle is better.

Great job so far! I'm too anal to make something like this, I sweat every detail.
I've had those same back tires in my garage for 5 years waiting for a project like this!

Good luck, looks like so much fun!

I genuinely beleive it would have went faster if it the tires on the rear axel weren't flat becuase I remember hauling ass on it the night before when I did have air in them.
but I couldn't find an air chuck this morning.

I hope you have a full face helmet, if that front wheel collapses at speed you'll do a header teeth first into the handlebars, and if you're as hillbilly as you play up you probably haven't got many left to lose.
Other that that, good shit.

Not with that attitude you dont. We call them ramps. The city instals them for free near the schools so we can get air while hitting tripple digits in school zones.

Tubes bruh. Get tire size and get om amazon. Throw the ass end on a cinderblock. Get some real soapy water and some bars and a hammer. They go on and off easy enough. And if not its fucked anyway. Tires are cheap even tho this looks like a bidget build. Dump a can of fix a flat in it if you want to get slimed. Dont fuck with spray foam or something. It just beats down in 4 minutes. When people say foam feeled tires they nean drill holes in the sidewall and fill full of solid plastic. I had a pair of golf cart tires done and they were fuck near 100 pounds each!

>> No.1661580

>>1661322
Better yet fuck it. Find some car wheels to weld to the mower wheeles. Cut the middle out so you can pin them on or build adaptor plates. Shit will inevitably wobble some but if you use a common tire and wheel size or even a couple donutes they are a dime a dozen at the junkyard.

Fuck op. Widen amd stiffen them forkes and use a donut

>you have control of the vehicle.

I actually built an fpv remote control electric wheelchair to ride 4 blocks to a buddies house but it would cost more to fight the dui than be worth it.

As you can clearly see officer fuckmeat i have abaolutely 0 control over piloting this here american redneck engineeed shit so lick my balls.
