Yesterday I accidentally dropped a book on a charger that was plugged to the outlet. The electricity immediately went out everywhere except for the kitchen. One of the breakers won't go up.
I opened it and it seems to be alright, I can't figure out how to fix it.

I was carrying a cooking book and tripped over on my dog who jumped out from under the table.

I just looked at the fuses and one of them looks burned. Could it be it? Should I just replace the fuse?

You have to try to localize the short-circuit, a grainy out of focus photo isn't going to help much. Could be the socket, could be wires melted and shorted to eachother somewhere deeper in the conduit, could be a device with tha short that's plugged into another socket somewhere on the same circuit etc.

given the pictures pure potato quality, i believe i can reasonably assume that is indeed a breaker and not a fuse

im not an electrician i dunno why it wouldnt reset. maybe the mechanism is faulty?

I don't know, it was alright until the charger broke and caused a blackout in the living room. A friend of mine is coming in 30 min to check it out.

So I opened the whole thing, started messing with cables and plugged them up to a different breaker. I got slightly hurt by the electricity current but the electricity is back on.
The electrician didn't show up but I managed to do it on my own. I'm surprised I didn't kill myself.
IT'S BACK ONNN

Good job bro!!! You took off the wires from a defective ground fault breaker and shoved them along with other wires into a regular breaker. DO NOT LET YOUR WIFE TOUCH ANY THING METAL IN THE KITCHEN. She will die. If you do not know what you are doing with electric then do not. If you want to learn then start reading. How about the neighbor that wired in the outlet for the drier and killed some kid. Fell free to do shit but know what you are doing first.

Run all the wires into one breaker and sell the rest. What a waste - can't believe nobody has thought if this before? What were they thinking adding so many of those in the first place?

>guards and handles on angle grinders

How else are you supposed to get your circular saw blade mounted when those stupid guards get in the way? And who needs a handle? Just wrap the cord around your arm if you need more grip...
