I need to diy something to contain the stuff I wish to ship via, well, a ship. Needs to be 20x8x8 feet at least, fairly durable, was thinking metal. Any ideas how I should go about it? I was thinking like pic related, but wouldn't it roll off the boat or something?

Or maybe a sphere, since it has best volume/surface ratio?

Make a container out of pallets.

Ideally you need a purpose built box of some kind..but to find something in those dimensions of 20'x8'x8' is pretty difficult

You could build it it yourself out of plywood ad 2x4, with a bade from shipping pallets. But also consider retrofitting a truck freezer box, or an old camper.

If someone really hammered out a good design for something like that - a standardized shipping box; it could really be a big hit and revolutionize worldwide shipping.

Are you going to ship it on a boat?
