How can I connect all these FUCKING cells in series without a spot welder?
Solder doesn't stick
Hot glue is momtier
Tape won't hold
VKEKEND won't sell their updated SHIT and it's like 40$
I'm too mad to take another picture but they're in the bottom left, standard 18650s

>Solder doesn't stick
use fine sandpaper
then flux

or just buy 18650 sockets

Tried. The flux I have sucks so I'll buy something better, but I don't expect much. I tried at 250-550 and nothing seems to make the solder stick to the cell tops.

Solder. Its the only way without a spot welder. You need the following: a higher wattage (40w is the minimum) soldering iron
Flux
Rosin core solder
Emory cloth

1)scuff the crap out of the battery terminals
2) apply rosin to terminals
3)???
4)apply heat and solder to the joining wires
5)apply wires and new solder to battery and be quick about your dwell time on the battery as it will react to heat. Which is why you need a high wattage soldering iron.
6)profit

Your iron tip likely doesn't have enough mass to maintain a temperature for soldering the cells. You can try to crank it up to Max and maybe it'll wet and solder, or you could probably get a 100 watt gun from Walmart or AutoZone that will definitely do it. Try to be quick about it too.

Ho Lee shet that's a good idea. It would solve my clearance issues as well. Thanks mate.

Just gut an old microwave from a scrapyard, rewire the transformer and make your own spot welder. It's like two hours worth of work, tops.

this.

and then balance 'em how? Also, contact resistance.

Chinesium battery spotwelders on eBay are 50 bucks. they make all your problems go away.
