So yesterday I noticed my yard was full of dandelions so naturally I decided to mow them down this morning, BUT for some reason the field of yellow in my yard was gone by the morning, like all of the stems were still there but none of the tops were.
Is this normal?

A entire lawns worth of dandelions going from flower to seed and dispersing those seeds overnight is not going to happen.

Rabbits or the like eating them is most likely, or this is a sad attempt to troll.

No, it isn't all that normal. Someone may have been making dandelion wine and stopped by to pick them. They are also good rolled in flour and fried.

Nope, good and old foods, the entire plant is edible, tap root to blossom and everythin in between. Loads of recipes for each part.

They make good salad greens, so if your yard was open to trespassers some spics or gypsies weeded them for you.

The hard part is that you need to pluck all the little yellow petals out and keep all green parts from getting into the brew or it will be bitter.

>>1415827
Some non-dandelion beers use dandelion as a bittering agent. No wines do that.
