How would you design a nonlethal human trap?

I was watching Mousetrap Mondays on Youtube and was really fascinated by the nonlethal traps that can catch several mice without needing to be reset.

It got me to thinking how you could design a trap like that for human beings, given the higher difficulty of designing something that human intelligence would still be fooled by.

This is what I came up with. It's a decoy porta-potty for placement a little ways off hiking trails so people are likely to find it, and be in a situation where they need to use it.

Once it detects their weight on the toilet seat, it abruptly swings down out of the way. They fall through into a chamber full of oil or other lubricant which makes them too slippery to climb out. There's also a noise canceling sliding door that closes above them so they can't shout warnings to other people who enter.

As incredibly stupid as this is, I actually could see this working, with one small change:

Brick shithouse, with a heavy exterior door. Literally could be an actual, functional outhouse if you wanted.

Just have a lockset with a keyway on both knobs. Leave it locked, but leave the door cracked. They enter, shut the door, and can't get out.

The first house I bought had access to the sub floor underneath the small recess the front doormat was in. Just 8 small boards, you remove the 2 inch coconut mat, the 8 boards then crawl in to move around cables and stuff.

This is UK and underneath the floorboards is only crawl space.

I removed the 8 boards and replaced the doormat.

Next mate through the door his foot went through the mat whilst the other stayed on the doorstep.

He broke his knee and his ankle whilst I pissed myself laughing until I started to realise life wasnt movie, his screams were real and despite being stoned, I was going to pay for this.

Lost a good friend that day, not because he died, but he realised what a dickhead I was.

Lucky for me he didnt press charges.

Just make it a standard toilet block made of solid materials. Have the door to enter the lobby/sink area self locking, and have each individual cubicle also self locking (and sound proofed). You can even leave the 'toilet in use' indicator intact.
Person enters toilet block, walks past sink, enters toilet cubicle. They're now trapped from the cubicle door, and from the toilet block door. Next person enters, avoids the already engaged cubicles and gets them self trapped as well.

suppose you wanted to trap just one person, I'd use a porta potty. somehow rig a speculum device like this that tracks the position of the asshole and quickly rams itself in and deploys. then you just line the cubicle with a stainless steel mesh. you could make a loading bay in your basement and the pear would also effectively immobilize them (the pressure on the pudendal nerve prevents the legs from moving) I mean i assume there's a purpose for catching people you have in mind.

Here's an idea I have for a non-lethal trap, the only problem is that only one person or small group of people can enter before it needs to be emptied and reset: have a closet or small room with only one door, and no windows, large vents, or flammables. Use a sensor to determine of the room is occupied, and if it is, have the door to the room close and lock, with the only way to unlock it being from the outside.

OK I've been thinking about it.
I presume the idea is to catch as many people in a discrete way as possible.
So my idea would be to create a series of giant globes, bigger than a man that can be sold to people for their homes. Basically, each globe would have a random country where there is a trap door. People love to spin their globes, and if they happen to spin and point to the trapdoor country the door will swing open and the sudden change in pressure will suck them into the globe.
The inside of the globe would be sealed with lube and small spikes to prevent escape. There could also be a button inside that alerts the organisation that someone has been caught. You could easily carry the globe away dressed as moving men without suspicion.
