Gotta hand it to you, that's pretty fuckin neato. I like the aesthetic. You should look into making a IR pulse gun with a CO2 tube, I think you can get a lot more wattage out of them. Hope you're wearing goggles AT ALL TIMES.

Here's a .30 cal airgun I built recently. Should get 100+ ft. lbs. out of it, haven't got a chrony yet. Got most of the parts premade online, had to customize and make a few .

Geneva doesn't apply to regular people defending themselves. It has to do with countries at war and their military. People break those rules all the time anyway, like Israel using white phosphorous or purposely destroying Palestinian schools.

You know, I thought about that one. The fact that it would need an on-board vacuum pump and high voltage power supply would necessarily mean it would take a minigun-style format (but continuous wave!) Anyway, I'm too poor to do that right now.

I dunno man, it's hard to post instructions because I modeled the parts myself, printed half of them in ABS and half in PLA, bought a shitty (lying by a factor of 2) voltmeter off the slow boat from china, stole audio potentiometers/leds out of science class back when I was in high school for voltage dividers, and dead bugged everything in the most jank way possible. Those blue LEDs in the back? White LEDs I painted blue with old ass pinewood derby paint, lol.

I built pic related, at first there was no trace, I spend several hours probing around until I found I had bent a choke inductor too much causing it to break inside. Straightening its pins made the inner wire contact again, so I soldered new orthogonal pins on it and into the board it goes.
Been playing around with current rectifiers and filters for a couple hours, gonna try generating waveforms with an arduino

I got one of those too, and for what you pay for one it's pretty good. Not sure what the trimmers do though. A tip for you, just figured this out a day or two ago, if you're trying to measure a low frequency signal, which means greater than 20ms/div, it will appear to take some time for the trace to update, as if theres a few seconds of latency. In fact there's just 40 or so divisions of latency since the default is for the screen to be centred around the trigger location with so many time divisions on either side, so if you're just viewing a low frequency signal with no triggering you can just scroll the screen all the way to the right and rid yourself of that latency. It doesn't seem to want to trigger at 50ms/div or above anyway.
