Hey /diy/
I was fixing my logitech g402 mouse yesterday (the left button was double clicking on single click, got that solved) . After reassembling the mouse I noticed that the mouse cursor is moving slowly by itself. I suspect that something went wrong in the reassembly. Anyone had this problem?

The sensor is probably just dirty, check if there's hair or something.
You might need to disassemble it again and clean the sensor/optics.

How do you fix the double click problem? Did you just replace the switch?

There was this tiny copper plate inside the switchbox that I took out, bent a tiny bit and replaced it (took 3hours without former experience) and then everything was fine.

Well which way do you bend it

I bent it downwards, so that the plate stuck up a little more.
This helped me:

I never understood why people threw away $100 mice because the mouse clicks funny now instead of just fixing it. But then, I guess that's the /diy/ mentality. Hell, when I'm lazy and don't want to fix the mouse physically, I just write up a quick script/program that filters out the double clicks.

did you change the sensitivity? most gaymer mouses have a button for that. maybe a "hidden" one on the board without access from the outside?
