What's the best software to easily sketch out a building in 3D without actually being proficient in 3D modeling? not trying to do anything professional, just a sketch of my dream home.

After you get the house done, you can use AutoCAD Civil 3D to model the yard terrain, and you can add your pipes and sewers

Modeling is a pain in the ass.
Thats why autoturd never got fully accepted as THE 3d killer app.
Autocad is only acceptable as a 2d drafting software OR in some pretty particular 3d oil field thingie.

You can get a student license just by clicking 'im a student'. No email confirmation links - just straight to a download link. Good for 2 machines.
