Do you have any tools?

The easiest way if you have nothing and still want to DIY it is to go to Amazon and buy those '2x4 basics' table legs. Cut wood, screw to legs, done. More expensive than doing everything yourself but can be done with only a saw of some kind, a tape measure, and a drill.

Alternately, cinder blocks and a sheet of melamine.

Get screws. Get wood. Get wood glue. Glue and screw. You've got yourself a table.

Go on gumtree/Craigslist/Local paper search for free or cheap table frame.
Buy/acquire a plywood sheet. Cut to shape.

Making myself a tv console shelf. Is screws good enough for all the joints? I can try dowel but then I have to carry the whole thing myself than screwing them piece by piece in my bedroom.

Should of put a taper on the legs and a slight curve on the aprons

>> No.1185503

Thinking about turning the front legs. At the bottom and in the middle.

How would I go about putting the curve in the aprons? Just a jig saw and a sander?

>> No.1185504

>>1185503
Tbh I used a combination of a coping saw a regular circular saw. And a hand held belt sander to do my curves.. For steep or heavy stuff. Chisel... There's faster tools to do it. Like a speciality plane or router. And a bandsaw. But fuck all I got neither of those things.

But a jig saw will work fine.

coffee table maybe?
i found this at my local dumpster a few days ago.
After sanding visible water damage, giving it a mahogany stain and adding a clear coat, i'd it looks decent for personal use. Several imperfections that would bar it from being sold though.
