Ill keep it short and sweet. I downed about 8 trees in my yard. Now i have stumps. I have no access to a stump grinder. Nor can i burn the stumps due to there location. I heard you can rott them by drilling 10 inch holes into them and filling them with chemicals. Guess my question is what would be the best chemical to use without it harming the surrounding area? (and rotts them fast ) If you have done this before id like to hear about it

Most stump removers are based on Potassium Nitrate. Drill some holes and put that shit in along with some water.
It's not super fast though, it will take around a month until it is rotten enough to remove it with a hoe.

The other option is to burn it. There are hundreds of videos and how-tos on this topic.

I ended up build a fire on it and having a cook out. It was okay since the nearest trees were over 200 feet away so there was never a concern about a root fire causing something else to catch on fire.

For the ones in the woods I drill a few holes and put in some chicken-of-the-woods mushroom plug spawn. Because you can't have enough chicken-of-the-woods.

Kek, still, Potassium Nitrate is mostly used as fertilizer. Anybody with a reasonable excuse should be able to buy a small quantity's without making it into some intelligence agency's naughty boy list.
My local gas station sells them in 20kg bags.

It can be mixed with fuel oil and a blasting cap added to speed up the process significantly.

You can just make the shit, it isnt hard. All you need is fertile earth, water, fire, and a bucket. Look up the millitary manual improvised munitions on archive.org (can't link at work). there is a reason they regulate it, cooking meth is just one of them.

Drill a small hole, insert copper wire.. or if you happen to have copper nails, drive one or two in the stump.
The stump will rot away quickly.
Also , Amazon sells actual stump remover.

And the rest. I put some in mine a year ago. They are rotting but it still took me 5 days to burn one out. I stuck a chainsaw bar full depth in the top and watered it down in too.

I bought some shit at lowes. Is stump killer. Gotta drill hokes and dumo powder in and then hot watter a few days. I suggest get a paddle bit amd go to town from the top if u want free. I've had that going on for years now for a stump I didn't remove, just drilled, rotted and tore out.

Anyone know how to get rid of that shit? It's been years and there are still lines extending out where the yard is different.
