I'm doing night vision goggles because NVG's are cool
Parts so far:
Arduino Board
Ski goggles for frame

other than the camera what else will I need?

the camera and the screen are connected by analog composite video.
so what the fuck is the arduino going to be doing?

I'd hope you know how NVGs work.
Real night vision goggles have light intensifiers. Usually they're a semiconducting layer (photocathode) which turns photons to electrons, then passes it through a electron multiplier medium, normally microchannel plates if you don't want a literal vacuum tube taped on your head, then splashes the electrons onto a phosphor that produces the resulting image but intensified back to you.

If your camera already has NV then why bother with everything else? Just stick the camera at the front of your face.

If u use an IR sensitive cam you would need some IR diodes to light out the scene.
