I got a extended battery for my iPod classic, pic related.
You can see the connection where I'm pointing with the screwdriver.
Problem is the cable is too short.
My question is if you can heat it up and bend it, to mount the battery the other way around.
tldr: can you bend/fold ribbon cables?

Can you? Sure. Should you? Not unless you can replace them.

Flat *flex* cables are designed to bend, just don't crease the shit out of it like you're doing origami.

I need to bend it in the opposite direction
Kinda seems like origami to me desu

Bend it once and then leave it alone. Don't bend it and unbend it over and over and you'll be fine.

You cant give it more slack from the top?
