Care to give us a rundown of the process, anon? Completely ignorant to how stuff like this is made

This marble was made by fuming the bottom of a disk of molten glass with gold, then using a bed of spikes to punch many small bubbles on the bottom, you then "implode" the marble and they get dragged higher and higher until you get the line-shaped bubbles featured. You would then attach another rod to the front, and slightly pull the whole thing forward as you twist it. Once you have the design featured, you gather a black rod into a decent sized marble, and adhere the whole spiral onto the front. Then the whole thing would be heated until it takes on a more marble like shape, and from there they could've hand-worked it into a perfect sphere, or used a marble mold.

This is the pipe I promised. Wasp prototype, no color or wings yet. I haven't experimented with millies yet, but I am probably going to start soon. I made the coolest marble I've made yet IMO today. Will be able to post it tomorrow.
