Hey /diy,
I was wondering if you guys could help me with a project I'm doing for college. Basically It's a daft punk clock (See pic, a test piece version of it, not the final version) that will with 45 LED lights all different colors going inside the trench you can see in the pic (15 rows of 3). Now basically I want to know how to I go about getting these LEDs to light up and not blow? A transparent black sheet will go over the trench by the way. I will explain more in next post.

Here are the LEDs resting inside the holes I drilled in the trench, so now for the million dollar question. If I soldered every three LED row together Postive to Negative then how would I go about getting them all to light up at one? Would I need resistors to make sure it wont blow? Teach me your ways wise electrical over lords, how the fuck do I do this
