Wasn't sure if I should post this here or /an/, but I've been dealing with scabies for a couple of months now and I was wondering if any of you fine folks had any remedies that may be effective in getting rid of them.
I've tried Permethrin twice already and it hasn't been very effective (and it's cost prohibitive to continue using it).
I've also been taking very hot showers which seems to be killing quite a few of them off, but they keep coming back.
Any help would be much appreciated.

>fill bathtub
>add 2 cups clorox per 5 gallons
>soak until tingly
>shower immediately

Alternatively:
>grab horse trough tub
>fill with isopropyl alcohol
>take a dip
>be sure to moisturize skin

>> No.602320

you need to wash your clothes, carpet and bedding, neckbeard.

also, have you been rubbing the scabies cream ahead of the lines? the lines are their shit trails under your skin. they've moved on quite a bit by the time the line shows.

I sleep on a cot and I got rid of it, same with my clothes, also don't have a carpet.
Not sure how or if it's a re-infestation.
Thanks for the advice though.

Have you tried going vegan? These kinds of conditions are usually the result of toxic polution in your system that comes from consuming animal products. You should also consider cutting gluten out of your diet.

These kind of conditions are usually the result of an external parasite which even a god tier immune system will not be able to repel.

Have you tried knowing what the fuck you are talking about? Its a parasite, asshat. You get scabies by being around scabies, not eating bacon. Human scabies don't even effect other animals so the only way you can get them is from people. I doubt this dude as been eating people so you need to take your bullshit evangelism fuck off.

Boil your clothes, go to your doctors, tell them the deal, get the cream they give you, lather it on like 3 times, and then bam, all gone.
I had it for like half a year when I was 13, when I went to the doctors it was gone within a week

>> No.602457

from wikipedia
>Since mites can only survive for two to three days without a host, objects in the environment pose little risk of transmission except in the case of crusted scabies, thus cleaning is of little importance.[17] Rooms used by those with crusted scabies require thorough cleaning.
So unless they are crusted scabies you don't need to care about cleaning stuff but you need to apply medicine for several days till they all die.

I will confess, I posted in jest. Someone posted going vegan as a cure for warts in a thread about, well, curing warts a few weeks ago. It amused me so much that I decided to recreate the experience.

Fucking this. Invermectin/Ivermactin is a tablet. As in, you swallow it. Boom. Fucked off the skin burrowers after a day. Had you been to any hotels or public gyms before you got it. That's how you got it...you sure you actually have it? Did the doctor pull one off you and show it to you in the microscope?
