What are you doing to my shoppin carts?

Zinc only causes temporary illness if you get a good sized dose. Its called metal fume fever and the amount in that shopping cart it probably not enough. You'll feel like shit for a few days but recover. Now, if you get a mega-dose, like several dozen grams of pure zinc that you strait up eat, then yeah, it'll probably kill you. If thats the case, well, one less dumbass on the planet.

i'm not that guy but i have never seen a galvanized shopping cart before. they were always plastic coated or nickle plated steel.

is it nickle or chrome plated? but yeah they don't make galvanized shopping carts

>> No.440679

depends entirely on the country/state you're in and who manufactured the cart, metal carts are available with nickel, chrome, stainless, galvanized, epoxy, lacquer and powder coating finishes, and some models have a combination of the above.

some states restrict galvanized carts for "health reasons", CA, NY for example

in ANY case it isn't a good idea to cook off them or be anywhere near them over a fire, even the stainless ones get layers of cleaning solution buildup and some of that stuff is pretty funky.

Not to mention all plastic carts.

Stainless is best since you can scour the hell out of them prior to use.
