Does anyone know how to build them? (i have tried a few times and it turned out pretty well by just hammering a nail into a piece of wood, but i don't know how effective it is gonna be.

Don't know. But to fuck with other cars I would try chaff - now that many cars have RADAR based assistants.

That is a good idea, i think i know where i can get my hands on some

I can't imagine this would be useful for home defense, in what context would chaff be useful?

literally any scrap metal would work, aluminium cans included, you will need great amounts and a way to disperse them in the air around said radar equipped vehicle but yes, anon it would be possible.
just sticking a sharp nail in the tires or a pipe bomb in the engine block would be easier.

probably, it just needs to detect something in front of it

probably? That's not reassuring. It would be more reliable and cheaper to simply eject 20 aluminium cans at high velocity to shatter the windshield

Take some square stock, cut short pieces of it at a 45° angle. Saw them 1/3 through lengthwise, the at a 90° angle from the other side. Bend them open at the cuts. No matter how they land, one point will stick up.

>escaping cops

When I watch a police pursuit where the imbecile drives and drives and drives until he either runs out of gas or his car is destroyed due to spike strips causing flats then loss of tire then loss of wheel etc, I always wonder WHAT IS THIS RETARDED MONGOLOID THINKING? THE COPS ARE GOING TO GIVE UP?

So, when you do this, live stream from within your car, and let us see your frame of mind during the final half hour or so.

for home defense on property you own and when booby traps are legal in your area, just take two pieces of metal, bend them both at a right angle and then tack weld them together

Relax it was a FUCKING JOKE
anyway i think that deploying road spikes form your vehicle would work pretty well at slowing down anyone chasing after you.

Use "concrete" nails, they're way more expensive because they're heat treated not to bend.

Modern caltrops are made with tubular spikes, so that air is more likely to escape from the puncture.

We had this giant 500 mile bicycle ride / race thing years back that used one lane of the highway for miiiiiiiiiiiles. During rush hour my normal 15 minute commute turned into an hour or more.
I bought a huge box of thumb tacks, got drunk one night and chucked handfuls for 10 miles of road.
Next day I drove by dozens of bike riders with flats…is that wrong?
