Its bad bait because literally every new /diy/er and homeowner wants all those tools.

If someone can afford a nice big set from MIlwaukee or Dewalt or Makita, might as well get it.

>>wrap string around shelf
>>let plumbob hang
From where? Over the front edge, the rear edge? And where on that edge?...in the middle?
or do you mean over one end?
>>measure from top string and plumbob
There's only one string so "top string" makes no sense.
Also "measure from" those points TO WHAT?
>>when the numbers are the same top and bottom its level
"Top and bottom" OF WHAT?
Do you even know what the words "shelf" or "level" even mean?

There *is* a way it might be done to a reasonable degree of accuracy, but that jabber isn't even close to describing it, and its a tedious process prone to errors.
The ancients weren't stupid and understood that water naturally seeks level and exploited that phenomenon to determine level for large projects like buildings. They had smaller levels that used a plumb bob but not like you describe it.

Properly hardened teeth make a big difference when grabbing onto metal stuff, also the grips on good pliers don’t slip and the cutters can handle bigger stuff.

If you try to grab on a higher grade bolt or some steel shaft or pipe with Chinese pliers made of cheese, they just slip. If you get some good $20+ pliers, you will feel the teeth bite into steel much more and absolutely dig into copper and brass when doing plumbing stuff.

Everyone who knows knives (and you for that matter) knows thats a fake from wish.
That blue and grey satin benchmade is a late 2017 short run model thats been sold out for years.

It being a short run is why counterfeiters copied it and and flooded WISH.com with them.
If your retarded ass would have paid retail price in 2018, you would have shown it off in 2018

But you dont buy milwaukee, you buy rigid because its "the same thing but cheaper"
You didnt buy american made tools, you bought taiwanese because "its the same thing but cheaper"
You didnt buy a real tap and die set, you bought a cheap craftsman one because "its the same thing but cheaper"
You didnt buy a fluke meter, you bought a Klein meter because "its the same thing but cheaper"

I could write a fucking novel on things you have bought because "its the same thing but cheaper", and yet you expect anyone to believe that in 2017 in the peak of your poorfaggot phase, you bought a short run benchmade?

I mean the Izula is literally the "its an esee, but its their ultra cheap model, so its the same but cheaper" version

I don’t know, I got it from the father in-law. Never really used it because it’s a fairly large folder and I always have one of the small Esees on my belt.

Although I got a Coast headlamp from him after that and it’s fuckin sweet. 18650 inside, 3 brightness settings, real strong magnet, and it zooms. I have been using that daily for a year or more at work, pull it off the strap and stick it on anything metal. And I got a small Coast 1x AAA light that is quite bright, and it has this lens that gives you a real even circle of light and it’s resl nice for a quick look in the engine bay.

The headlamp even came with a silicone strap for a hardhat. It’s heavy on the dome but one of my favorite lights.

Carpentry isn't the only place where squareness matters.
Even if you aren't framing roofs those are convenient for marking lines parallel to an edge in everything from sheet metal and plastic fabrication to sewing, they make a good guide for slicing square or mitered ends in thin material with a utility or Xacto knife, the wide edge hooks on a table edge and combined with another long straight edge works for drafting purposes or cutting glass, it's a compact squareness guage that can stand on its own on its wide edge...it's also a ruler.
