Does anyone have any good methods for making a decent multi-purpose parts cleaner cleaner? Specifically for breaks, rotors etc.

This sounds like a shitpost but I've thrown enough random shit into my dishwasher to make me think it's not.
I unironically don't see the downsides of a shop dishwasher parts cleaner. But in the same vein I've never seen or heard anyone doing it. It sounds genius.

Old diesel mixed with motor oil and whatever turpentine you have around. Use a brush, try not to drink it,possibly wear gloves while scrubbing.

If you can get one of those industrial dishwashers with the stainless steel hood you can clean it easily and the filters are easy to change.
