Alternatively, what can I replace this shit with? It doesn't have to fit perfectly or I could build a strap to hole a cable hanging out of it, but it needs 4 pins.

Any recommendations?

These absolute CUNTS.

They only used 2 of the pins and they could have just used some form of USB, but instead they DESIGNED a special connector that is really hard to push in so that the solder joints on the PCB or the insides of the connector give in. I have no doubt that this was designed to fail.

Reflowing the solder joints unfortunately didn't help so I just cut off the wire and soldered it in.

Thanks. This electric grass trimmer isn't worth more than 20 € and I could only find connectors for 5-10 € so it wasn't worth buying those, even though it would have been a better solution than mine.

companies make proprietary shit like this so you have to buy the replacement power supplies from them cause they dont want you to buy a cheaper off the shelf one. this is why you fix it yourself, and of course that proprietary connector they used was designed for that! even tho it only uses 2 of the pins. its a "well I have to buy it from the manufacturer" scheme. cause most consumers dont know any better

Amazon has a 4-pin connector, outdoor use connector, plus it's both the male and female halves.
It might take some creativity to butcher a panel-mount receptacle into whatever it is you have in front of you, but it's do-able.
