What you could try is flipping it over onto a sheet of melamine board, anything rigid and smooth and try sliding it up. If you could lasso it and attach it to something upstairs with a come along, have your wife try to keep the slack out in case you slip.

Other than that I think your only other option is trying to flip it up the stairs.

not even close. we had one unbelievable staircase that was about 1 foot from an exterior wall that had windows down in that pocket. I painted some of it from up on the stairs, some by stretching into the pocket, and some from going outside and reaching through the window. I wish I had a photo because words don't do justice.

I was on a job once where an old house needed more furnace ducts. They ran one along the floor next to a bedroom wall, and boxed it in with 2x4 framing and sheetrock, baseboard, etc. What nobody seemed to care about was the access door to the faucet in the bathroom on the other side of the wall, which was 100% buried behind all that. When that faucet goes out, instead of a $200 bill, it will be more like $2000.

Get yourself some 2x4's and 4x4's and make a palate. Then you just get some ratcheting ties and pull that sucker down. You can get some rope and hoist that fucker up the stairs. Watch out for the banister as a leverage tool. Might be easier just yanking it up there. Or else just get a friend to help you get it up. I would still keep a palate on it because those legs can bend from the move.

Flip the vanity onto its side with the countertop surface against the dolly.
Strap it down.

This, and you could use real skis if you find a set at a thrift store. Some carpet remnants between skis and stairs protect the stair treads.
A cheap boat winch with a nylon strap is ample for pulling it up the stairs. I'd bolt the winch to some stout steel angle then pad the steel with towels where it contacts any woodwork. Anyone foolish enough not to live in a ranch design house (stairs kill old people and are the reason they stop using the second or higher storeys of their homes) needs a permanent stairwell winching solution they can use for future moves.
