it's neither switch-mode or linear which are the two current methods. Did patent search and google search for it too and didnt found this method, which actually surprised me cause of how simple and efficient it is.. Currently have it connected to an hbridge(l293d) with a motor. Im poor, dont have any equipments, and not backed by uni or any organization, so i cant do much with it. Im currently trying to just optimize it to make it more agile, and write the technical paper so i could file the patent.

I was gonna go to /adv/ but that board sucks lol... So im asking you guys, how do i get this funded so i could get help with the patenting process and also so i could keep working on it? the patenting process is a lot of work and im terrible at writing which should be evident on this thread lol... I want to put this method out htere but at the same time im scared that im not gonna get credited for it and all my work will just go to waste.

ill make a video of the motor spinning at different speeds. If this thread gets attention lol

it's not pwm which is a switch-mode regulation. It's a lot more simpler. the module is only powering that hbridge to make the motor spin clockwise and cc.

my method has low noise, very easy to implement , and can be made with next to nothing materials... pretty much the same response everywhere with people doubting me... i think im done working on this project... fuck this lol

Don't waste money on patents. Just use your device to make the world a better place for yourself.

because your post has all the hallmark signs of a schizoposter with no actual information or verifiable facts. Here's a novel concept: Some dude in his garage with no backing or background is extremely unlikely to find something so simple that hasn't been done before. And if you were smart enough to figure that out, you wouldn't be asking people on an ayy lmao shitposting forum for advice. Retard schizo.

It's not bullshit you fucking dweeb, you are expected to defend your intellectual property rights, if you do not then a court can determine you no longer assert your rights over it and so no longer in fact have a patent over the IP.

Actually useful patents submitted by randoms are immediately copied by bosch or Microsoft and put into production without a second thought for you. You're now expected to sue them and reach settlement out of your own time and money or don't, in either case they're using your shit and you can't stop them in 99% of cases.

assuming you are are noone and have no connections, your best bet is to publish it in some cheap sci journal and then try to sell the idea for cheap, inventeros never get much from the inventions its always some rich fuck from marketing or investor

I'm missing what this device is supposed to do. Are you spinning the motor and producing power? are you spinning the motor using power applied to the h-bridge?
You gotta give some more info of wtf is going on if you want help.

>I just found a new method of producing variable electric power
What you did is overengineer one of these guys (pic related)
>how do i get this funded
Ya don't. Nobody's gonna invest in it for three reasons:
1. A knob with 2 wires is cheaper, easier to manufacture and easier to replace than some complex microchip controller
2. Whatever you made there probably already exists in machines that require fine tuning (you know how, on your phone, you can turn your volume up and down by actually not using any buttons and instead just touching the screen? Yea, that.)
3. You haven't even perfected the damn thing. I can tell that just by the fact that your circuit is on a fucking breadboard. You haven't even reached the point where you can call your invention done, let alone the moment where you can start to wonder how your machine would ever see use in the real world.
What are you gonna do? Patent this, then change it a little bit, then patent that too, then make another change, patent the 3rd prototype as well, and so on? Man, those guys at the patenting office are gonna love you. 50 patents for one device that ends up being worthless.
>funding to keep working on it
It's a chip and two resistors! You're not building spaceships for fuck's sake! You could get that shit for 15 bucks, even less if you have a thing for scavenging broken electronics (by the way, if you're really into electronics, buy a multimeter, then just gather all the electronic junk you can find and start taking it apart. I have a literal bucket of perfectly good components that I only paid my own work for.)
>probablybrainlet
your assumption is correct.

when it comes to anything new there are questions which will either be your selling points or why nobody gives a fuck. this is not meant to discourage you but are realities even companies deal with

1) cost. is it cheaper. if not thats a mark against it

2) does is exceed existing limitations of existing technology. if not thats another mark against it

3) would it require any one to do anything differently. sounds stupid right its a new concept of course but outside of what it does will any one have to wire anything differently. if so thats a mark against it

if you have 2 marks against it it will not be funded by default. you may need to adjust whats done

I mean, while fucking around I managed to PWM drive a CPU fan with a 555 even though the frequency was out of the fan's spec, but I didn't think I revolutionised motor controllers. Why can't brainlets be a bit more humble?
