Good day fine anons.

I have decided that I need to bury my treasures underground. But I still need to be able to access the hoard, either to add or remove items, without digging the entire thing back up every time. So simply burying a chest full of stuff isn't going to work in my case.

I have been musing possible solutions and come across onion shaped septic tanks. If I were to bury one of these in my secret location, I could then add and move items from it via the access shaft without having to dig the entire thing up. Because it is onion shaped I would have a fair amount of underground storage.

As for retrieving the items, I was thinking I could attach string or fishing line to each item before I drop it in, and tie the line to the inside of the access shaft. Then I simply need to pull on the appropriate string and my treasures will come back out.

Could you guys please audit my idea and let me know if you can see any potential problems or better solutions.

Thanks so much

When you bury this, be aware of the tendency for it to float to the surface when the surrounding soil is wet and loose.
Good luck

you think OP is going to bury his treasures inside a USED septic tank? you must be a legit retarded cunt. regarding access, a hollowed stone could easily be fitted over the hatch. any other criticisms from atop your ivory tower?

I have decided that I need to hide my treasures in the sky.

I have been musing possible solutions and come across onion shaped balloons. If I were to tie one of these to a tree in my secret location, I could then add and move items from it via pulling the rope without having to pop the balloon.

My major concern is the white color, can I paint a balloon to camouflage it in the sky? Also how long does a balloon last?

Could you guys please audit my idea and let me know if you can see any potential problems or better solutions.

Thanks so much

I'll bite.

I've never used that kind of septic tank but I have to assume it would work. What kind of ground are you dealing with? Does it rain like hell around there? What I would be worried a out is water infiltration from the top. A good rain might flood the tank and wash some silt inside at the same time. Also I would worry about your things getting stacked or the ropes tangled.

If I were you I would just stash my porn in the woods like they used to.

Dig hole, pour concrete allowing for drainage hole for water, place items in chest with big handle, place stone paver over top, build a path with other pavers to disguise, plant tree nearby. When necessary to access treasure, remove paver and use rope with hook to haul it out, and ass hoard grows more massive, learn climbing knots in order to gain more leverage using the tree. Does not work in areas with significant rainfall without further drainage considerations
