another thread started by someone who can't think for themselves.

I will assume the wb stands for weather band?

you gave no useful information about where you are what you want to listen to, how far away you want to receive things. so with that information any cheap ass chink radio will work.

if you want shortwave then any of the Tecsuns will work.

seriously then any AM FM weather band radio will work, you only need to decide what size speakers, analog or digital tuning, stereo or mono, and how much you want to pay.

we can't answer that for you.

Sangean makes exceptional old school, analog table top radios. They run for roughly $100. There's modern version which are slightly cheaper at $75 and can play MP3's.

As others have said, just about anything will probably be fine. It doesn't really take advanced manufacturing skills to make a decent one. But I'll add my 2 cents anyways. I have a Tecsun PL-310ET that I listen to while working in my storage room. It's a portable shortwave radio that will run off a rechargable 9v battery (sold separately) and charges via USB. It is a Chinese company, and it does cost $48, which is a lot if you just want a radio. So it probably doesn't fit any of your criteria, but I like it.
