Say he got rid of the gloves, the puppet, the accent, the rap songs and music videos, the ASMR book readings, completely unrelated blogpost videos, and his name wasnt literally clickbait, what would we be left with?

It would be a channel with 10-15 videos on how to silicone cast small figurines, and 3d print small figurines.
It certainly wouldnt get hate, its your typical dime a dozen zoomer maker channel which everyone would ignore.

But it isnt focused on casting and printing, the vast majority of videos on his channel are unrelated to /diy/ and directly related to him having a puppet. The man built his own Sesame Street youtube channel and you are surprised that /diy/ isnt sucking his dick over it?

The reality is, there are far better casting and molding videos out there. And those channels can focus on new useful casting videos instead of worrying about a new rap music video with a dancing puppet.

A few logical explanations: Maybe they have tried and failed to create popular youtube channels, and feel that he doesn't deserve the view counts he gets. Or perhaps they had some sort of interaction with the producer of that channel, in comments or messages, and felt slighted.

Whatever the explanation, the criticism of his harmless use of the puppet and his manner of speaking seem like strange aspects of a video to provoke extreme dislike. Heck, I can't watch 99% of the "popular" channels on youtube, but I just go on to something else and leave the videos to whoever wants to watch them. And, his channel is unquestionably a diy channel where he tries to give tips to others.
