if you had parts, i guess you could mount a small CD player on it. depends mostly on what you can get your hands on.

That handle is begging to be used (it's not like we ever used 'em when we actually had Gamecubes, is it?), so something portable. Stick a speaker in the top and some buttons or jacks in the controller port holes, and you could make a nice little portable speaker out of it.

That's how just about every cool project starts. You just gotta find out.

I think speaker wiring is pretty simple, and the raspberry pi is just like, one chip isn't it? Just look up some basic electronics stuff, get the materials and equipment necessary, and just start getting creative.

I dunno about you, but if it were me I would get one of those USB plugs that add more USB ports to your computer and make the controller plug slots into USB ports. Plug Gamecube into computer, add 5 USB ports, have four sticking out of controller slots, one inside and use the rest of the container for holding my external harddrive which is connected by the USB port on the inside.
But, you know, that's just me.

I'm looking at mine, and it barely fits, but if you have the USB port sticking out of the slot a bit you shouldn't have a problem. You'll need either strong glue or something supporting it in the back so that the USB port doesn't just fall back into the Gamecube when plugging something in.
