Actually it's a full size, not a Shield. I find smaller guns harder to shoot when I can't get a proper grip on them, and the recoil makes them a little less controllable. Oh, and I'm licensed to carry concealed, so I'm by definition a "good guy" since that also means I have no record of any sort of misdeeds (except for traffic violations, which I also have none).
