This is my ram pump. There are many like it, but this one is mine. What projects are you up to /diy/ldos?

The weighted part is the clear upside down Gatorade bottle. I can add rocks & water to fine tune the ram pump.

I did the wood and wire, because I didn't want to glue the (PVC 2" 3/4 reducer) top on so I can adjust if I have to. I'm about to go install it. I have a headlamp now. :-)

still cranking out these machined steel plate parts, but faster this time because I have two pallets now.

>pallet1 in, run op1
>put pallet 2 in, swap out clamps on pallet1, run op1, wait
>take pallet2 out, put pallet 1 in, run op2
>take pallet1 out, put pallet 2 in, run op2
>swap new material in pallet2, wait
>take pallet2 out, put pallet1 in
>swap new material in pallet1, wait

er uh, something like that. pretty sure that's fucked up

Sure thing.

The wood is sapelle. I used scrap pieces left over from my recent tool chest project.
The box will fit in the middle level of my tool chest, below the hand tray, but above the "basement". The logo I printed on a laser printer, then transferred the toner by soaking through the paper with acetone and rubbing thoroughly with a credit card.

The chisels are held by magnets.
I don't have a latch yet. I'm thinking about using magnets to latch it closed.

About 4-5 years, but I've been away from it for almost a year before I got started again in September.

Here's my tool chest project. The hand tray is done, but the chest itself still needs finishing.

Only 5 years? Damn. Good work man. Better than I could ever do w/ that much time and effort.

Don't hijack my thread asshole.

On a more important note... My waste valve is a really foot valve with the spring removed. I'm going to make a plunger out of a dowel. I just had a 3 hour nap. Getting back at it.

I'm still noodling on why the ram pump is not working like it was before, and that's because I disassembled that and it's a different system now. I guess that's the simple logic.

Maybe my pressure vessel is too small for the new pressure? OR my foam noodle inside the pressure vessel is kapoots? Or NOthing is wrong. Now that it's clear I'm hunting for a way to get it working. I also need to put pressure gage on the inlet to know what I'm working with.
