Look near the plug and see if there’s any numbers.

If it is the brush in the OP, it looks like it’s regular lithium and charges at something like 5V-1A. Look around your place for one of the USB wall plugs (this will have writing on it too, 5V-1A, 5V-2.1A) and try to find one that matches closest to the toothbrush.

Do you have a multimeter?

Also what does the plug in the toothbrush look like? You will need a good way to connect the little wires from the sacrificial USB cord to the brush.

the charger has 1/2 of a transformer in it.
(a coil of wire and a ferrous 'slug')
the coil energizes the ferrous material when the charger is plugged into the mains
the toothbrush has a 'matching coil' in the base
when the toothbrush is resting on the charger, the magnetic field induces a current into the toothbrush coil which gets converted to dc to charge the battery

ideally, the correct charger is preferred but anything that can induce a magnetic field into the coil in the base of the toothbrush would have a chance of working (somewhat)

this is why the wireless phone charger plate works in the video.
it has nothing to do with usb or 5 volts
phones that charge from a 'wireless' charger work in a manner similar to the toothbrush

If you're going to buy something to charge it, buy the correct charger instead of a wireless phone charger.
