ENOUGH!

I'm done fighting junk shit and trying to steer and weave between shit.

The deisle 0 turn Bad Boy mower i want is like $14,000. Can't find a cheap shitty used 0 turn of any kind anywhere.

So fuck it. I have some random parts and can build/buy anything else i would need.

Anyone know of any /diy plans or have experience working on these?

I'm definitely not building a bad boy. But i do have a small deisle motor or 2 water cooled 17hp Kohlers that run good.

Also debating on a deck. The Deere mowers the motors came off of were a minimum of 42" cut. Rather than having to shove grass 84" out the side i was thinking maybe the normal side discharge but move the cutout in the other deck to shoot out the back.

I just checked a zero turn yesterday. I saw it was still at the dump today, but flipped over so somebody was niggering around with it

Make it a hybrid... get a generator.. and some go cart motors... easier controls 1 motor per drive wheel and one for the deck...

Grab that mutherfucker! Parts alone you should easily be able to hock it for $100 at some bootleg repair shop on the side of the road. Or trade in

I'd rather go full blown electric with junk laptop cells if i had the cash to get set up. Still might make my other mower electric.

The pos blew up. Not sure why but it sucked fucking ass push mowing last year 2 hours a day 6-7 days a week

dude all you need is the blades to spin out in front of you idk whose idea it was to put them between the 2 sets of wheels

think snowplow but mower blade

Ryobi already makes a full eletric zero turn mower for, $4000 for 3 acres of mowing in nice clean electric silence.

Welp, fuckin sold. I'd have at least 4k in it with used batteries and fuckups. Off the shelf replacement parts are nice and it's an okay brand. I have 6 acres but i can just mow half a week i guess.

Thanks anon!

Only 4k? That's not much more that a gas powered deere of that size. Interesting thanks anon.

To be honest if it's to be usable it's going to need like $2000 in batteries.

They're lead acid so that's probably 4-6 years of use though.

I think it's less about the cost and more about not having to fuck with gas/diesel
