gtfo with your burger tools

>> No.1571130

Why do these companies offer what looks to be 5 different versions of every kind of drill/driver? I can understand having a standard drill, an impact, a scrugun, a right angle, etc. but some of these looks to be the exact same tool repeated over and over. If they are all the same voltage why offer so many different impacts for example?

So they can fill up the shelf, also to encourage impulse buying and budget creep.

>one second you are looking at a tool that cost X amount of money on a website or certain store.
>full size hammer drill with a bag and 2 large batteries. But you arent paying attention to the fine details

>you walk into a hardware store, a drill that looks identical but is actually a compact drill with 1 compact battery and no bag is suddenly X amount less, so you impulse buy it.

Well say you impulsively decided this was the drill you wanted but didnt buy it.

>look at the compact drill, commit to buying it in your head but dont pull the trigger
>suddenly you see that it doesnt come with a bag, and only 1 small battery
>this keep is only slightly more expensive
>and this one is a hammer drill and is only slightly more expensive

And you convince yourself that "its only a little more" several times and you end up spending twice as much money as you mentally committed to in the first place.

These support Trumpf. No thanks.

I genuinely cant tell who is or isnt trolling when they bring up trump anymore.
With that said, pretty much every higher up at every company is going to support trump, hoping for huge tax cuts and deregulation so they can try to wring out more money out of you.

I don't care if the company supports Hitler or Stalin, I just want a decent tool.

Why would I do that? I'm serious.

If it was ISIS making Milwaukees you wouldn't buy it.

I would, if they were still quality tools.

You already support ISIS at your trip to the gas station.
